The next WHPS workday will be Sunday 19th April, all are welcome to come along and help! As usual after the winter break, we will be doing gardening and housework duties around the Drop Redoubt fort and generally getting things up and running again and back to normal.
Volunteers are welcome to join from 10:30am, meet at the main door of the Drop Redoubt in the ditches of the fort. All PPE and tools are supplied, just bring sturdy footwear and your lunch! More detail about volunteering with us can be found here.
The Grand Shaft will also be open between 10:30 and 16:00 and is free to enter and no booking is required.
Guided history tours of the Drop Redoubt will commence at 11:00 and 14:00, only a few spaces are remaining but we are also taking bookings for future tour dates, so please view our calendar for info and email us at whpstours@gmail.com if you’d like to book a place on a tour.
